Truth from the “other” Side 4

Hate crimes are any crime that comes from hate. Why isn’t every murder or assault considered a hate crime?  It isn’t worse to hurt a black man than it is to hurt a white one. It isn’t worse to hurt a Muslim than it is a Christian or a Jew. It isn’t worse to spit on a homosexual than it is to spit on a heterosexual.

We don’t have a race or religion problem. People are killing people. People are discriminating against people. We need to stop categorizing our human race according to religion, color, nationality, or sexual preference,  and start seeing the issue as a people problem.

Seriously, people. I love people, but we need to wake up.

Let’s start asking how we can help each other rather than asking how to deal with “those” people.
